The Bear Cubs are coordinating the May Pack meeting, which is the Move Up Ceremony and Cub Carnival!
After opening ceremonies, we'll conduct the Move Up Ceremony, where scouts who have completed their rank achievements will be presented for rank advancement, enter through the amazing Transmorgifier Machine, and exit as the next rank.
Then, our Bear scouts will lead us in a fun Cub Carnival of activities. Scouts will proceed through various carnival games, such as sack race, ring toss, cornhole, golf ball tee balance, can jam, croquette, and more! Water and snacks will be provided.
At the end of the meeting, each scout will be provided with a model rocket kit, to be constructed at home and brought to the June Pack Meeting's Rocket Launch.
If you don't pick up your model rocket at at the May Pack meeting, contact your Den Leader.
Pinewood Derby cars will also be available for pickup at the end of the meeting.
Don't miss the pomp and circumstance of this ceremony and the fun of the 4th annual cub scout carnival.
SCOUTS SHOULD HAVE COMPLETED RANK REQUIREMENTS for their current rank in order to "move up" at this event. Please contact Cub Master Kurt Graham if you have any questions about your scout's or den's progress towards rank advancement.
