Our October Pack Meeting will be on Wed Oct 16 - a hayride, ice cream and pumpkin carving!
We’ll meet at Eastleigh Farm, 1062 Edmands Rd, Framingham, MA 01701 - http://eastleighfarm.com
Plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00pm. We won't all fit in one hayride, so we'll have two hayrides, an early one, closer to 5:30; and later one, after the first one ends, around 6:00. If you get there at 5:30, you can catch the early hayride and maybe have a chance to see some of the animals.
All Scouts are covered for the cost of Ice Cream and a Hayride (siblings and parents will be expected to pay $8 for hayride and ice cream or $4 for just the hayride). Please feel free to bring a pumpkin from home, however for those who do not bring a pumpkin, Eastleigh said they would take people on a hayride to Hanson’s Farm to get one, cost is $0.69 per pound for a pumpkin. After the hayride, we'll go into the barn for the carving.
Finally, please bring along your kid-safe pumpkin carving tools (absolutely no sharp knives please!). They seem to range between $10 to $20 for a kit on Amazon, Target or CVS.
