November pack meeting - Community Service
Date: Thursday, November 9, 2017
Time: 6:45 pm - 8:00 pm
Location: Peter Noyes Elementary School, 280 Old Sudbury Road, Sudbury, MA 01776 (map)
Uniform: Class A
Our November Pack Meeting will be held on 11/9/17 from 6:45 pm to 8:00 pm in the Peter Noyes gym.
The theme of this Pack Meeting is Community Service. Boys should wear Class A uniforms. We have two projects planned for the boys, which will be done by all ages / dens.
1) Birthday Wishes "Birthday-in-a-Box" assembly (https://birthdaywishes.org/birthday-in-a-box/). The Birthday-in-a-Box we make will go to homeless children in domestic violence shelters, scattered sites, motels, and other locations.
2) Letter Writing / Flag Folding - We will be writing letters, drawing pictures, and folding pocket flags for military service members. The letters, pictures, and folded pocket flags will be sent overseas to forward deployed soldiers to thank them for defending our country and our freedom.
We will need parents to help the boys with these projects; leaders and parents should plan to be actively involved with their boys. Help is also welcomed for set-up, which will start at 6:30PM.
We look forward to a great evening of service!
Thanks to the Wolf den leaders for organizing this Pack Meeting!
